I don’t really have the words to express our sense of loss now that Roy is gone. Our friendship spans four decades, and was constant. He was like a mountain beneath my feet ... invisible, but always there and always totally committed to my support and advancement.
I can be selfish here, but frankly, Roy was the same with all who knew him. He was a singular treasure, always giving, never expecting anything in return. He entered the Hall of Honor on November 13, 2010. We knew his time was short ... and will remain forever grateful that fate allowed us to share this moment of appreciation with him.
