1. Assume class is restricted to a maximum size of 15 students.

2. Assume monthly fee per student is $30.00.

Initial Investment: $1000.00

 

Revenue generated: 15 students x $30.00 = $450.00 per month
less heat, phone advertising, etc......               -50.00 Rer month

                                                                   Net Income $400.00 per month

Assuming you are putting in 6 hours of actual teaching time per week, this works out to approximately $15.50 for each teaching hour. Not too bad, considering that you never have to leave your home, and when you're not teaching, everything is there for your use.
